When I was at my sickest, I needed help.
At one point, I was in so much pain I couldn’t get up. I think I would have starved if a friend had not come over to help me. It was the darkest time of my life.
My friend was “a good health advocate.” Someone to make a meal, talk on the phone, write emails, ask if you are okay. We can all be that for someone by helping each other, in any way we can. That’s why I started A Good Health Advocate.
I was in terrible pain, starting in 1991.
Nothing the doctors did helped me. I found natural things that helped me live with the pain and life went on whether I had pain or not! Some people don’t want to go on because the pain is too much. I have lost a lot of friends to suicide. I just want to say, it’s never so bad that you cannot recover with God’s help. When I was at my sickest or when my children were sick, I was praying.
I got used to being in pain all the time. I have a very high pain tolerance now. 🙂
Doctors only paid attention to me when my pain escalated into things like: 1) throwing up every 3 minutes 2) passed out from the pain 3) throwing up blood. I had 3 surgeries that I think were not needed. It was toxins the whole time. My whole life.
In 2010, my son got sick. He was in so much pain, he could not walk, read, laugh or play. He was having seizures and throwing up daily. And nothing that I or the doctors did was helping him.
My 11 year old healthy son… had become a very sick boy… practically overnight. This picture was taken one week before Cullen got sick.
I did a lot of research and took him to a bunch of doctors.
I write about doctors and treatments that helped us, things we did and what we still do to stay well. Once we realized we are living in a toxic world and we were sensitive to those toxins, we do what we can to clean up our environment. I’ve learned a lot and I am always learning. So, I share here.
Clean air, clean water, clean food and clean natural products.
State of mind, prayer and positive thinking.
