Tomorrow, at 6:00am… I will start taking round the clock oral supplements to detox the mercury I have in my body. I am following the protocol outlined in the book “Amalgam Illness” by Andrew Hall Cutler. I expect to be mercury free in 18-24 months.
I will be taking 12.5mg of DMSA every 3 hours for 3 days and 2 nights. That means that I will set an alarm and get up throughout the night and take a pill… as well as taking my DMSA during the day.
For full guidelines and support, I suggest either reading the book “Amalgam Illness” or joining one of the mercury detoxing forums on yahoo groups. There is a group for adults called Adult Metal Chelation and one for children called Autism-Mercury.
I have done a ton of research on mercury poisoning detoxing and chelation, read several books and research papers on the subject and listened to many hours of lectures and interviews of professionals who are helping both adults and children become mercury free. The 16 amalgams (silver fillings) I had removed in January 2011 had been poisoning me for 21 years.
Now that the fillings are out, I am no longer getting poisoned, which is great. Still, the mercury that is in my body has settled into my organs; especially my liver and my brain. That is the reason I am starting oral supplements that will bind to mercury and help rid my body of this toxin.
When my son was sick and struggling, one of the things we discovered is that he was toxic with mercury. I wondered how this could happen to an eleven year old boy who had never had any known contact with mercury.
#1 – a mother's mercury is “given” to her children at birth. Scary, huh? So, if a mom has “silver” fillings when she is pregnant… those “silver” fillings are actually made up of 50% mercury. That mercury travels through the umbilical cord to her unborn child and that child is born with mercury poisoning. I had 16 amalgams… my son got mercury poisoning from me.
#2 – vaccinations are preserved with thimerosol which contains 49.6% organically-bound mercury.
#3 – autism is four times more prevalent in boys than in girls, and boys have elevated incidence of damage from mercury exposure in epidemiologic studies.
Early signs of mercury poisoning in adults are nervous system effects, including narrowing of the visual field and numbness in the extremities. Exposure to mercury in utero and in children may cause mild to severe mental retardation and mild to severe motor coordination impairment.
